The sight word search below incorporates 6 high frequency words. These words are commonly found in print and frequently used by students in kindergarten through 2nd grade. In addition, half of these words are phonically irregular. A child will need to recognize them automatically upon sight and memorize how to spell them.

Depending upon your browser, the sight word search above will be presented with your default font. Whereas, the font used to create the word search below uses a teacher’s font that correctly forms each letter. A child will need to learn how to recognize both fonts. For example, the letters “a” and “g” have different lowercase print styles.

Several years ago I purchased a set of fonts from fonts4teachers.com. The one I use on most of my worksheets is ABC print. It’s perfect for young children/students as it correctly forms the letters of the alphabet.
