Our kindergarten curriculum performs quarterly assessments to track a child’s handwriting progress. Each child writes their full name as well as copies a sentence, e.g. Kindergarten is the best.

Ideally by the end of the school year, each child can properly write their name – using an uppercase letter for the first letter in each name and lowercase letters for the remainder. In addition, each child should strive to properly write a sentence – using both capitalization and punctuation.
